About the book: I have to say, this is one of my favorite books I've written so far :) NO cliffhanger, contains strong sexual content & adult language. Some scenes may be difficult to read and be possible triggers due to violence and rape.
Lennie is married to who she thinks is her 'true love', that she met in college. Justin is perfect in her eyes, until they graduate college and real life starts for them. Over time he starts to change, he becomes angry, possessive, and begins to break Lennie down. She tries to make excuses for what he's doing until there is no excuses left to make...only text messages and proof of what he's really been doing behind her back.
Dominique Hastings, (sigh), he's the CEO of his company, single and mouth watering sexy. After he finds out that his finance cheated on him he puts a wall up keeping women from getting close to his heart again.
When Lennie and Dominique meet neither of them can deny the attraction they feel for each other. Two things keep Lennie from letting herself fall into Dominique's arms. One--She's married still and can't bring herself to walk away without trying one last time to save her marriage. Two--Dominique is African American, in today's society she's doesn't want to bring unnecessary drama into his life.
No matter what, Dominique wants her and will do anything to show her how much he wants her.
Just when Lennie thinks her life is turning around and things are getting better, her husband resurfaces and turns her world upside down again.
